GoodFatApp provides tracking of good fats, protein and fiber but does not focus on calorie counting. Calorie counting has be found out a little bit in the last year or so. The problem is not all calories are counted equal and some have different burn rates in your body. That is why we focus on a diet of balanced good fats, proteins and fiber. You will notice there is no carbohydrates at all in the diet tracker. This fits with the idea of removing all sugar from the diet. The idea behind diet tracking is to set goals in terms of servings for each of the core elements. The recommended approach is 5 servings of God Fat; 5 servings of Protein and 5 servings of fiber. There are also a number of neutral foods that you can supplement your diet. But by strictly focusing on the 5-5-10 rule you will lose weight and settle at your equilibrium level. There are quite a few calorie counter and diet tracker apps on the market. However we think GoodFatApp is the first to offer a synergistic approach in the new way of thinking about good fats and the impact on metabolism.
